Lavender Night Cream

Like many Onederings products, our Lavender Night Cream began with a personal request. Amy’s sister Theresa loved the original Lavender Lotion, but after gardening, when sun, wind, and changing weather could leave her facial skin feeling dry, she told Amy, “I need something stronger for my face!”

Back at the farmhouse, Amy got to work developing a cream that would provide the extra moisture Theresa wanted without feeling heavy or greasy. Creating a cream with just the right consistency and feel takes plenty of experimentation, and Amy’s farmhouse lab is always a busy place. She made sample after sample, while Theresa tried each one and put in her two cents—sometimes complaining like only a sister can!

Amy kept refining the formula until she found the combination that finally earned Theresa’s thumbs-up. Along the way came a happy bonus: a more generous lavender fragrance that made the cream especially lovely to use at bedtime.

The result is a luxurious night cream combining shea butter and olive oil with moisture-attracting glycerin and sodium lactate. Aloe, panthenol, and silk amino acids help condition skin, while the cream absorbs beautifully without a heavy or greasy residue.
